Questions
How is the real hourly rate worked out?
Pay for the shift plus any mileage the pharmacy pays, divided by the hours you're paid for. With driving time added, it's divided by the hours worked plus the time spent driving there and back, which shows what the day is really worth.
Is a day rate or an hourly rate better?
It depends on the hours. Put the day rate in one offer and the hourly rate in the other with the same hours, and the calculator shows which pays more per hour.
Should the miles be one way or there and back?
Enter the miles one way. The calculator doubles them for the round trip, the same as most pharmacies pay mileage.
Is anything I type saved?
